Brands Page Sidebar and Breadcrumbs - by nichemarket

Hi There,

I have 2 questions:

1. How do I get the shop sidebar to automatically render on brand pages? I saw a post that said Brands should inherit the shop sidebar but this does not seem to happen. How do I add this?

2. also the breadcrumbs don’t seem to have a separator on to like other brands pages. How do I add this?

Hello,

Could you provide us with link to your shop page? Because it looks that it was trashed https://gyazo.com/262e07a0cd57945d12b10bbfbe4dbf04
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > choose the shop page. If it does not help then provide us with WP Dashboard access.

Hi There,

I activated the shop page http://build.sleepgallery.co.za/shop/ – how do I get this to display categories instead of products?

Here is also a link straight to a brand page: http://build.sleepgallery.co.za/brand/cloud-nine/

I was changing permalink structures which might be causing the 404s.

Hello,

1) Go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product catalog > choose what you would like to show at the shop page: categories, products or both.

2) We were able to reproduce the issue on our test installation. We’ll fix it in the next theme update. At this moment brands still inherit the shop page sidebar position http://prntscr.com/rvhkwd (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout ) In the next update we’ll add the option to allow users choosing of the sidebar position for the brand page.
