Hi and thanks for the beautiful theme.
We have a random error occurring from time to time while rendering the header of store pages. When this error happens, we get the WPBakery short codes instead of the html output.
Here is a screenshot of the webpage:
Here is a screenshot of the html source code:
I am trying to debug this issue with no success.
Hello,
Thanks for using our theme.
I can’t see the error on your site (checked few product category pages). When this problem occurs next time for you, check if any error is in browser console (use chrome inspector http://prntscr.com/t3r4ro ). Provide us with a screenshot.
Also, try to clear cache of your browser.
Regards
Thanks for the answer. I did provide a screenshot of the html source code in chrome developer tools. https://ibb.co/vsNWZkf
As far as the console part of the developer tools goes, there are no JS errors. The HTML source code itself is corrupted (contains shor codes) as the screenshot shows.
For the website, yes it is not easy to reproduce the error and that is what is concerning me the most. It happens from time to time to some of the users with no obvious trigger.
If you are using a cache plugin/server cache/CDN, clear the cache. Also, once you get a report about the problem from the users, ask to clear browser cache.
Regards
Actually the problem – as I said – happens from time to time and clears itself without me clearing any caches. The question is why it happened? at least a hint on the reason? why would caching or CDN cause such problem?
We did not face such problem before, so I can’t give you a solid answer. To be able to help we need to see the problem and explore it.
It can be a conflict between 3rd party plugins or an effect of additional customization in files. I’ve asked to clear cache for a case if there was a problem of some sort and it was cached, now when it is not visible for me as for new user, some your old users face it cached state.
Regards
Clear to me. Do you suggest any debugging/logging to capture the root cause? for example if there was a conflict between plugins what is the best way to log/debug this. I am very suspicious of a race condition during page generation within wordpress but since I am kind of new to wordpress eco system am not sure how to capture such thing. Any suggestion is welcome.
Try to use one of these plugins https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ https://wordpress.org/plugins/error-log-monitor/
