Hi,
I’ve setup my website and have found tabs are behaving weirdly on mobile devices. On iPad in Landscape orientation, they work perfectly, but on iPad in portrait orientation and on an iPhone, they display underneath each other (like faq toggles), but when you open one, they scroll to the bottom of the content of the tab, which can be confusing, also when they’re displayed like toggles, it’s hard for the user to know there is more content under the first tab.. What I’d like to know is..
1. Can I display the tabs as normal (horizontal, like on desktop) on iPad in portrait, not just in horizontal orientation.
2. How do I fix where it scrolls to, on iPhone, when a tab is opened, so the tab stays at the top of the screen instead of the page scrolling to a weird position.
Thanks
Hello,
Please provide us with wp-admin panel and FTP credentials in Private Content.
Thank you.

Thanks
Hello,
1. Unfortunately there is no such possibility in the theme and a lot of customization is required in the files. This is not a free service.
2. Do you wish a tab to stay fixed when scrolling a page?
Thank you.

I want the tab to stay in the same position once it has been tapped to open it, but the content expand under it, as a tab would normally function. But right now, the page is scrolling too far down and the content of the tab is out of view, particularly when viewing on iPhone…
I have tried other types of tabs too like Product Tabs and Accordion and they do the same thing…
Hi Eva,
I’ve just realised I think this is because of the fixed menu header, which is making it scroll too far up, not taking into account the height of the fixed menu header. How can we offset this so a tab opens at the correct position and the user can see the content from the start?
Hello,
Sorry for a long delay.
Please update the theme to 1.5 version. Some bugs were fixed there.
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade (paragraph “1.5 Theme Upgrade”).
Thank you.

Hello,
Check your tabs now, please.

Hi Olga,
Thank you very much this has fixed the issue, was this with custom css or something in one of the theme’s files? Just so I know, when updating the theme. Thanks
Hi, sorry I never got a reply on this? I need to know if you altered a file so that updating the theme wont break it? Please let me know… THANKYOU
Hello,
You can update the theme without any worries. The fix is included in the new theme version.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
