    Hello
I use xstore theme. I imported ‘home decor’ template.
    It seemed great !
I just replaced the elements of the template with mine, modified some minor theme options, and integrated my products and ratings.
But now I’ve some big big performance issues :
    – Elementor editor sidebar is loading 10 seconds before I can edit a page (back office)
    – Loading the home takes 27 seconds (front)
Other resources and pages are relatively fast.

    With woocomerce disabled, it’s faster.
With another simple theme enabled, home loading and elementor editor is very fast.

Maybe I hit an option that slows everything down? Can you take a look and give me a trail ?
    Many thanks
    Romain

    Hello,

We have checked your site and found that site loading is increased once the WPML plugin is enabled https://gyazo.com/70085073f341fe0cda12386bf30bc336 . If we disable WPML the page loads much faster https://gyazo.com/d3ef79b5ab86bf21c2d6a169eab69982
If we enable the default theme Storefront speed loading is also not good https://gyazo.com/2f13e3ed572179ef29751acfc1c1ec45

So, I think you need to check the WPML documentation on how to optimize site performance when you use WPML. Something like we have for our theme https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/

    Regards

Thank you very much for your smart reply.
I made the same test with storefront theme, and WPML enabled, and I don’t find at all the same result : loading time is about 4 sec !!!
    https://www.loom.com/share/64eb0cccf9994392bd5044e412d8f833

This test made without cache plugin, after erasing of browser cache, and disabling ‘xtore core’ plugin of course.
I suggest you repeat the test without forgetting to deactivate the xstore core plugin when testing Storefront theme.

I can understand that Xstore is heavier than Storefront, because it is much more flexible, practical and beautiful.
But I can’t believe that WPML adds 1 second of loading to Storefront, but 20 seconds to Xstore.
Have you got some tips, or seen something wrong with my products ? My tags ? My categories ?
I want to keep your excellent theme, but not with such loading perf…
    Thank you.

Ok I see in Chrome DevTools that the problem comes from TTFB : 7 seconds waiting without WPML, 27 sec with WPML.
With Storefront without WPML, TTFB is 0.9 second, and with WPML 1.5 second.
It’s a huge lack of performance with your theme !
And I see some posts in support forum about problems with TTFB, and no solution.

I could accommodate myself (with a cache plugin) if I don’t have to wait 10 seconds in the back office each time Elementor opens.

When do you plan to resolve this enormous problem ?
    Thanks

    Hello,

I have passed your comments about TTFB to our developers but they don’t have quick solution to improve it, unfortunately. They will work on its improvements in updates but we don’t have an estimated time of the release of these things.
We are ready to give you refund if you decide to change theme.

    Thanks for your answer.
Yes I will change theme, but no I don’t want a refund for the theme. I hope you will clean this problem, and one day I can use this theme for another client.
You could just refund the last 6 months renewed support, it could be smart.
    Good luck.

    Hello,

If you bought it as a separate item then no problem. Submit refund request for the support period on ThemeForest and we’ll accept it.
