I’ve migrated a royal theme site from my development environment to another development environment and in the new environment I am getting white screens on the front end. The backend isn’t having any issues. I can’t give remote access to the new development environment but I was wondering if the version of php could cause this issue. The first environment was running php 5.4.34 and the new one is running php 5.3.8. In addition to that difference is there anything else that comes to mind that would cause the white screen? Is there a list of server requirements?
Thanks

Hi Robert,
I’ve just encountered the same issue here. The migrated site works in twentyfourteen, but not when I activate the Royal, or more importantly, Royal-child theme.
Credentials attached privately.
Cheers
Hello @rdrdrd23,
You’re using php version 5.2. Please ask your host to update it to 5.3 and the theme will work.
Thank you.

Thanks Eva,
sorted!
