Video Background configuration | help and documentation?

We’re using the video background effect in this theme. However, I can’t find any documentation regarding configuration. I only see what was in the legenda installation guide which is select a poster image, and add a video url. We have an issue that the video does not play in the tablet and the smart phone view so we’re using a background image. 2 things:

1. in the tablet view on landscape mode – it displays both the poster image and a very sall still shot of the video also show up. This won’t work at all. How can we fix this?

2. We would like this to also play on the tablet if not the phone. Is it supposed to capable of doing this?
