AJAX back to top option for product listing page

Hi there! Is there an option to have the page return to the top via an AJAX call after making a selection from the product drop-down (variable products)? This is mainly an issue for mobile users as they cannot see that by making a selection the product image (hidden) off-screen is changing.

So basically one chooses a product variant and it auto-scrolls to the top each time?

I’ve included an example link but this is a very generic feature request.
