Had problems with translation the theme - by Anderaka

Hi,

I try to to translate the theme with Loco transate as you suggest into the documentation, but the changes in the po file doesnt work on the page.

Can you help me?

Hi,

You need to translate the parent theme. The child theme should be translated only in case you added custom code in child theme that includes localization functions.
Make sure you placed translation files of the theme into the /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder with correct names (language name and xstore theme suffix, e.g xstore-de_DE.po, xstore-de_DE.mo). Click Sync button https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/, continue translation.
Follow this article to translate WooCommerce – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/
Create a translation for XStore Core plugin – Loco translate > Plugins > XStore Core > New language > Choose a language + Choose a location – System > Start translating.

Good morning,

As you told me i traduced the parent theme but few things on the website are in english and i change it to spanish, an example, on shop page i change product categories to spanish and still appearing in english.

And i cant change the lorem ipsum text on preview of blog post, can you help me?
