Hi,
I have two brands on my site that I would like to change the url to redirect to a different link(page) instead of the default shop brand when one clicks on it, as I do not sell products for those two brands on the site and would rather redirect them to a page for the brand I have set up.
Can you please tell me how I can change the default link to redirect to a different url address.
Thank you.
Hello,
If you have created them as brands then it will redirect to the page of the brand.
We can recommend you to remove them from the brands list and add them to the page http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/brands/ just as a Single image element where you can set link you need.

Yes I have created all my brands as brands.
I need my brands slider in my homepage to display the image of the brand and don’t think your recommendation would accommodate that as it will take that brand away from the list.
Where can I change this link to redirect:
<li class=”et-brand”>
I need it to go to this page:
http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/chanel/
Hello,
Please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Thank you.

And I need this done for the brand Celine as well. So just the two brands Chanel and Celine.
Celine Brand:
<li class=”et-brand”>
Redirected to:
http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/celine
Thank you.
Hello,
In this case you can create redirects in .htaccess file via FTP.
If there is no such file in your site directory you can create it and add the following lines:
Redirect 301 http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/brand/celine/ http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/celine
Redirect 301 http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/brand/chanel/ http://shop.lux-eyewear.com/chanel/
Or you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/

I used the plugin worked as advertised.
Thank you much appreciated.

You’re welcome.
