Logo bug on spa version - by dbosnj35 - on WordPress WooCommerce support

HI,

I have 2 versions of the logo in spa version (for the home page with white text and for the rest of the site with black text) but when you go to any page other then home page the version of the logo does not change to black text like it changes in the homepage when you scroll down.

How can I fix this?

Hello,

There is no possibility to add different logo images on pages, but it’s possible to have different logos for main header and fixed header (when scrolling a page).

I dont think you understand me..

This is not a feature request, this is a bug in this version which is not visible on your demo page since you link all subpages to royal main page no metter what theme we choose.

Can you look at the sample page I am expiremting with and see the logo on the home page and then see the logo on the second link I provided below. The logo on the second link which is contuct us page should be the same as the logo in the fixed header bar after you scroll down on the home page.

Hello,

In this case you need change main logo image in Theme Options > Header > Logo image. As you can see the same logo as on the Home page is displayed on all pages. That’s why main logo image has to be changed.

But then the main logo will be with dark tekst just like the second one? That is not how its suppose to work. The color of the navigation changes the color but the logo stays the same. The logo on the subpages needs to load in second variation (the dark text).

Sorry, but other pages use main logo that is displayed on the Home page, it can’t be changed for all pages and keep it only for the home page.

No. That can not be the case. Please take your time and look how the home page have white logo version with the white navigation. Then when you scroll logo goes to dark version and the navigation too. Now, when you make any sub page like “contact us”, header goes white, navigation to black and only the logo stays in white variation.

I can not make page like this that is functional.

So is it possible that all of the demos are just made to look pretty on the home page? All other links points to your main theme which has white background and the dark logo. So do I have to make rest of the site on the sub domain and install different theme just in order to have the site work like advertised?

Why don’t you make every version with corresponding sub pages so we can see how the thee behaves and not just the nice homepage and useless site as the whole product?

Hello,

As I told you before you need upload the same logo image for main logo as for the fixed header.
Main logo uses the image http://fahrudin.uizradi.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/logo_spa.png , that’s why it can’t be visible on other pages.
Fixed header uses the image http://fahrudin.uizradi.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/logo_spa_21.png .
We’re sorry but we don’t have such option to add different logo for other pages.
We’ll try to implement it in future updates.

I know that. But why is menu on the home page white like the logo (and your demo) If I put dark logo version on the homepage I have to mess with the css to make the navigation dark and then find image that is not dark in order the logo and the manu to be visible enough.

Is this the way you want your theme to be usefull? I bought your theme just because of the one-page variations and thay all have the same issue. So what am I to do? Please take a look how long ago I bougt your theme and since then there was problems with json files, then I had to wait for an update to solve the scroll issue on the mobile and only to found that I can not use one-page version because of this hiden bug? And it is hidden since you only display homepage on your demos and all the other pages are linked to royal main theme.

Please tell me what I should do now?

Hello, @dbosnj35,

You are right. We reviewed your comment and made a conclusion that version with 3 type of header is incomplete and we’ll make redesign to implement dark header bg and white navigation color for all pages, not for home page only. If you want we could do it also on your site. Or you selected 2 type of header and it’s ok for you now?

Thank you Olga. I have made a compromise on this site with one logo that is visible on both dark and white background but this is not the permanent solution. I would really like to see that you make this little effort and put few lines of code in your theme which could load the dark logo version on the sub pages just like it does in fixed navigation bar when you scroll down on homepage.

Sorry for a long delay.
We’ve released a new theme update 1.5.2 where there is a possibility for uploading a separate logo image for each page. Please update the theme and upload other logo for the page you need.
