    Hello,
I’ve updated the theme today to the new version.
All my translations to my site language (romanian) are not available anymore.
    I use Loco translate.
    Please advice.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Do you have a backup?
To prevent losing translation after the update, place translation files of the theme into /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder, files of plugins /wp-content/languages/plugins
Also, do a backup of all the files before any update – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/

    Regards

    Hello,

I did a backup this morning before updating.
Also, I overwrited the back up files for translations but still no result.

    Hello,

I’ve solved the problem in the meantime – translating again the necesary terms; it was not much, so it was not a problem.

Anyway, I see that there is a new update available now. Any advice on what to do in order to keep the translation files?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Translation files should be located in System directory, not in the Author directory https://prnt.sc/xto6r3
Then you won’t lose translation files after theme update.
