I don’t really know what is the term for that, but usually in a web shop when you click on a category, then on a tag (or any second type of filter), the search results are the addition of both criteria.
In my sidebar, I have product categories widget and product tags widget, but they are not working together… when you choose a category, it displays all the products in that category, but when you want to narrow it down by clicking on a tag, the search results change to only the products corresponding to that tag instead of category + tag…
This is not a proper way for filters to work… what is the problem? ( I have tried with 3rd party plugins too, and most wont even show in the sidebar even with their widget in place)
