Hi, yes page builder is ok, the problem we have is related to this message we get when we try to access the shop page or to edit any product
https://prnt.sc/yqgk0u
Hi
Are you trying to edit a WooCommerce shop or product page?
a. WooCommerce shop pages cannot currently be directly edited by Elementor. With Elementor Pro, however, you can create a new shop archive page to use in place of the default shop page. See how to create a WooCommerce archive template here.
https://elementor.com/help/creating-a-woocommerce-archive-template/
b. WooCommerce product pages must be edited with Elementor Pro’s WooCommerce Builder. If you edit it there and not into WooCommerce, you won’t receive the the_content error and you will be able to assign the template to your WooCommerce product pages.
Note:You can change Shop page default page settings by going to Dashboard > Xstore > Theme Options > WooCommerce (shop) .https://prnt.sc/yqjwbl
I have loaded a your demo, bicycle and i could before be able to go to the shop page and review and edit, then if you look at past ticket there was a problem on the home page and header, that a your colleague fixed.
then when i went back to the shop page or i try to edit with elementor a product page i get that error.
so there is something wrong there.
this is my problem. we have the elementor pro license.
also we have an issue because as suggested by yoru colleague, i have downloaded from you site the revolution slider plugin and reinstalled to latest version, however when i get and use it it says it is not registered, while we should have it as registered.
hope this clarifies the issue
Hello,
WP Dashboard access is incorrect https://prnt.sc/yrk734
Free version of the Elementor does not have the option to edit the shop page. Only Elementor Pro allows you to create templates for the shop archive pages.
All the theme settings to edit shop page layout you can find in Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop, Shop elements.
Also, you can edit only product description using Elementor. To be able to do this you need to enable Elementor for the products in the Elementor settings https://prnt.sc/yrk9cn
Bundled plugins do not require activation

Hi Olga check new password, dont know why previous didnt work
we have a licensed pro version of elememtor, and as already explained, before i was able to get and edit product page as for any other page. i was able to see both our previous products and the demo loeaded as well.
then something happen giving me that error.
please let me know if you need more info, it is not howevr for sure a elementor license issue.
thanks
Hello,
Read the Elementor documentation https://elementor.com/help/the-content-area-was-not-found-error/
https://prnt.sc/yui28v
It’s not related to our theme but to Elementor plugin.
Regards
Thank you for effective support.
for sure was not there before installation of you rplugin and loading your demo, since the shop was already existing
Hello,
Even if you enable any other theme you won’t be able to edit the archive page without using Elementor Pro and the way described in their docs.
Regards
Hi Olga, may you didnt catch my point
1) i purcahsed an xstore license, loaded your demo bycicle, and i do have a elementor pro license. I was the able to view and edit the products page as soon as the demo was loaded.
2) i had the a problem on the home page and header not correctly managed that your colleague rose taylor fixed.
3) after she fixed the home page issue, i noticed this problem on the products page (the shop page) that i dont understand, because before i was able to read and edit
4) since i was able to read and edit, i do not understand why i should not do the same as before. im not sure about the reason of this problem, nevertheless it was not here as soon as i have uploaded your demo. may be i have done something wrong, i dont know, but these days i have spent time mainly to better understand and trying using your templates rather than make changes, especially on products.
now you keep on telling me that i cannot edit product page, which is something i did, and also it is also one of the reasons why i purchased your products, since i have seen several tuorials explaining how to build an ecommerce starting from a loaded demo.
i think that we have some misunderstanding here about the problem and what is feasible or not.
i simply know that before i could go the “shop” page (the one of your bycicle demo) and see all products, both mine and the demo’s ones.
i was also able to go the products section and edit each single product page either mine or from the demo.
now im not able anymore to do that, though now the home page and header is finally ok
i hope this clarify my situation.
Thanks
p.s im not an expert web designer, otherwise i would not likely purchased your product… and that’s why im asking your support here.
Hello,
I think this is some misunderstanding in things you want to edit and things you try to edit. If you want to edit shop archive page using Elementor to add some additional elements, change styles of the products, number of products per page – you can’t do this and this option was never available, it’s not related to theme but to Elementor plugin and WordPress itself.
Our theme allows editing of the shop page layout from Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop and Shop elements.
If you want to edit single product layout you can do this from Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product.
Maybe you edited not the shop archive page but a simple page that had the Product element in the page content, did not you? Like we display product on the home page, for example.
Anyway, tell me what exactly do you want to change on the shop page? Maybe theme options will be enough.
Regards
Hi Olga, thanks
im following now your suggestions step by step.
yes i can edit and modify the shop page via Theme Options>woocommerce>shop and shop elements.when i however try to modify a single products i get this page https://prnt.sc/yxyrbg
if i then go deeper into a single product, again going thorugh Theme Options>woocommerce>shop and shop elements and i try to edit a single product page, i again get this page https://prnt.sc/yxzutg where i only see the header, footer, but the product info (which are existing in db) are not shown.
if i get to products images i get this view https://prnt.sc/yy0a1b
and if i get to the single product builder page i get this page here https://prnt.sc/yy0js3
as you can see in any case i cannot change/modify any of the xisting products either mine previuos nor the demo products.
so to recap step by step..
1) im at theme options> woocommerce> shop https://prnt.sc/yy0js3
2) here i see the products categories summary, getting into a single category i see correctly the products list https://prnt.sc/yy1ebd
3) getting into a single product page (any of those) i get this empty page https://prnt.sc/yy1j1v
so i think there is something wrong here.
consider that i cannot even edit any existing product page neiwther directly from elementor editor.
please let me know if i make anything wrong
Thanks
Hello,
1) Shop page. If you go to WooCommerce options of our theme we don’t redirect you from page where you are located to any other page like WooCommerce options do (Images and product catalog), so if you want to edit the shop page settings of our theme and see them then go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > click Images settings to be redirected to shop archive page and then go back to other settings like Shop or Shop elements.
Or open the shop page in an additional tab and reload it after changes you do to check them.
2) Single product page. We have 2 variants: a) using built-in layouts b) using single product builder. To get built-in layouts then turn off the builder https://prnt.sc/yzd867 and save settings. Check the single product after that.
If you want to use single product builder you need to add sections https://prnt.sc/yzdb6j and then drag and drop product elements from the bottom panel to these sections in the order you need. You can manage sections width etc https://prnt.sc/yzdseh Once you create layout it won’t be empty. It’s empty at this moment because your template is clean.
