Show variations as single products - by fcnet

Hello,
We would like to show variations as single products on all shop, category etc pages, so we bought the plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-show-variations-as-single-products/25330620 and to make the second image show, we also bought their other plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-gallery-images/28844649
There are a few problems, like the brand is not displaying on the single variations products and the second image does not display either, so we contacted their support and the plugin developers replied with the following:
1) Your theme is outputting the gallery function and they use the variation ID to get inital images. They need to change it to fetch main product images > contact theme devs

2) Not sure if “brand” comes from your theme, but it is the same as 1). In your theme listing they fetch the variation ID and not the main product ID. On variation ID you do not have set a brand > contact theme / brand plugin developers.

Is there any way you can help? Also, do you maybe plan to add this feature to the wonderful XStore even if that means that you will have to raise its price?

Provide us with temporary WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site. Also, provide link to categories where you enabled that plugin for the variable products and provide screensots of the products with issue for better understanding. For example, see the champagne earings on this page:

If you click on the product to go to single product page, you will see that there’s a second image which was supposed to show on hover on the shop page but it does not.

Here for example, you will see the brand and the title under the products which don’t have the color variation, but you don’t see the brand and the title under the split products

Hi again,
We bought this plugin as the other one was not working well:
https://iconicwp.com/products/woocommerce-show-single-variations/

It works fine and the only problem we have is in the Quick View.
The developers in iconicwp replied with this when we reported the problem:

I checked and it looks like that your QuickView from your theme, only supports showing the attributes selector for the post type “product” which is the Parent Product, and doesn’t support to show in the post type “product_variation” or the variations.

For this, may I request if you can contact the developer of your theme and if they can check this issue as well and if they can make the QuickView work like how it works with the parent product?

Let us know if they need anything from our end and we will be happy to assist you with this further.

Hi fcnet,

If you still use store and on this website then I see you have the same problem as I have.(see issue https://www.8theme.com/topic/images-of-variation-not-showing/#post-279988).

If you go to https://newweb.nuove.gr/product-category/tsantes/ and select the “MONTANA BAG BLUE” product you will see on the product page that first the blue bag is show and a (few) second(s) later the green bag is show. I suppose the green bag is the default variation and also the green bag images are added to the parent product. It does not always happen but if you click around a bit you will see it.

I just wanted you to know about this issue and hope they have a solution for both of us 🙂

You use the built-in option but the client uses the third-party plugin. So, it’s not the same question as you have.

No it does not work fine.
Please go to this category:

and check the product you see in the screenshot:

You will see that there are no variations showing to choose from, color or single/pair.

And about the other problem, when I click on silver, it’s supposed to take me to the silver variation, which shows up for a second then it changes to gold. You can’t fix this you are saying?

There are 2 ways:
1/ When user click on quick-view button it will open the parent product if it is product_variation , like here – https://gyazo.com/5ea071422cbdb8900b53105b44a6dbfb These changes were applied on your site. Please clear cache, and check.
2) Or as it was before these changes – https://gyazo.com/770fa09a24dbedc9d7b9e80d933cc69c

Please note that we do not give a guaranty for full theme compatibility with all existing 3rd party plugins. It’s not possible for the author to make the theme compatible with all the existing plugins.
