Hello, I have just updated to Royal theme 1.5.2 and I have some major problems:
1. Theme Options are no longer used. Making changes and Saving has no effect.
2. I have no footer

Hey, guys, any news on the update problem. Did this happen to anyone else?
I tried deleting the theme and installing the oldest version I have (1.2) with no result. The theme options are no longer saved.
I’ll be looking forward to your answer.
Hello,
I’ve reuploaded theme files for the parent theme.
Please check your site now.

Eva Kemp.
I have done that too with no success. There is a problem with the theme saving the Theme Options. Although in the WP Admin the settings are saved, they are not applied on the site.
For example, the logo of the site should be the same as on the live version: http://www.craigjohnsoninternational.com/
Eva, the work is done on the testing subdomain. I think you uploaded the new version on the live site. The problem is on http://testing.craigjohnsoninternational.com/
I have sent you the login details for WP Admin.
Hello,
Sorry, my fault.
Please check your subdomain now and clear your browser cache before.
Thank you.

Nope, nothing happened. The Theme Options are still not being saved.
Hello,
As I see you’ve uploaded a lot of folders with different theme versions.
Please upload only one “royal” folder:

Thank you.

Ok, sorry about that, I tried activating older versions to see if I can get the Theme Options to work. I have removed the older versions and renamed the current theme folder to royal.
Thanks.
Hey, Eva, please tell me if you are still working on solving this because I am too and I don’t want us to hinder one another.
Hello,
I’ve activated Royal parent theme and disabled all 3rd-party plugins. After that theme works fine and changes are saved in Theme Options. Now you need deactivate plugins one by one and find out what is causing the issue. Also check the modifications you made in the child theme.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Ok, Eva, noted. I’ll do exactly that. Thank you very much for your help.
Hello,
You’re welcome.
