Does the theme use standard Facebook open graph tags?
    Can these be turned off?

The theme generates raw tags that aren’t optimal.
    I want to disable/change them.

Normally I use Yoast plugin to finetune them but when I want to activate this I get a notification that OG tags are already loaded somewhere else.

    Check the website with

    http://www.google.nl/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

    title: Home
    type: article

    Meta Tag <meta property=”og:title” content=”Home” />
    Meta Tag <meta property=”og:type” content=”article” />

“home” needs to be “website titel”
    “article” needs to be “website”

    This not good for SEO.
Any idea how to change this?

Ok I’m 1 step closer to solving this problem!

Apparently there is some piece of data somewhere in theme or database which comes from the data import.
This data conflicts with the new website data.

Please go to url underneath (Google Rich Snippet Tool).

As you can see the data is loaded 2times which will give errors in Google.
By example the image is from the data import but isn’t active in my media gallery anymore.

Can you tell me where I can find and delete this data?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

Have you had the change to look at this issue?

I really need to get rid of this demo metadata which is still active somewhere.

    Hello,

Take our apologies for the delay.
You can find code in royal/framework/theme-functions.php, lines 1241-1245. Delete it if you don’t need this information.

    Regards,
    Olga Barlow

If I delete the lines I get a whitescreen as soon as I try to login in the admin.
I don’t have access to FTP but you can access the file through the wordpress editor.
    Is that ok?

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello,

I’ve commented those lines in theme-functions.php and haven’t got a blank page on your site.
    Please check it.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
