Wbsite loading slow and what is the purpose of child theme?

I have setup demo website but its very slow in loading in home page. its not like your demo that seen website.Its loading very slow 10-20 seconds then its appear.
2. Second concern is what is the purpose of child theme how it is used in main theme. could you help me out this. Now its running child theme.Thank you.

It’s recommended to use child theme if you plan CSS or PHP changes of theme functionality in the future.

yes sure i will provide the details wp dashboard. and the demo will open in your website its very fast. please check why its happening tell me for future. i want this website quickly open and display. its delaying in all departments and pages being loading slow.

hello team,
its not website issue its a theme issue that performing slow in loading.please check the theme why its loading slow. lots of user complaint about that theme for loading issue. loading slow performing slow.i want that type of theme for ecommerce, its perfect but its have issues in the theme.

Hello,

Our developers are working on theme optimization and we plan a major theme release (approximately in August). We don’t have more options to seed up theme till that release.
If you don’t want to wait we could only give you refund.
