Woocommerce Wishlist – Please support it (or help me out)!

Hi,

First, I know you haven’t tested the theme with Woocommerce Wishlist, and don’t guarantee it to work. And yes, I know YITH is provided, but honestly, YITH sucks, is cookie based, and is free for a reason.

I purchased Woocommerce Wishlist. I’ve paid money to a developer to get it to work. I’ve spent hours with Woocommerce and WooThemes getting it to work. They all say the same thing. The theme is preventing it from working.

Can you please give me a hand? It doesn’t seem that hard (I know, I’m not a developer, and I value your work, but this should be a standard plugin to integrate with).

I need the plugin to show on the shop page and the single product page, and actually add the product to the wishlist. Through various routes, it either doesn’t show on the shop page, or if it does, it adds the wrong product.

I’m begging you here. Please help me get this to work! Thanks.

I’ve checked Woocommerce Wishlist and it’s shown on a single product page:

and is working fine. I’ve added a product to Wishlist successfully:

Hi Eva,

Sorry for the drama. I contacted Woothemes right before. First, I had to upgrade the theme, then upgrade the plugin.

However, it’s only working on the single product page, as you saw. I added some code in the theme functions (functions.php) for the button to appear on the main shop page, and this is where the theme conflicts.

add_action( 'woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item_title', array( WC_Wishlists_Plugin, 'add_to_wishlist_button' ), 10 );

When I click the button to add to wishlist, it doesn’t do anything.

If I can get this to work, I would be forever grateful!

Hello,

I’ve checked this code with default WordPress theme and the same issue persists there too.
You can check it yourself. So you need contact Woocommerce support regarding this problem. Sorry.

Hello ansosan,

Please navigate to Theme Options->Product Page layuot->and select On at Show product name, Show Price.

When I go to the cart, I cant check out. The link sends me back to the shop.
I have updated woocommerce but it does not change anything.

On woo commerce, I have the following message :

“Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could be the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.”

When I open the status, it says:

WC Pages

Cart: Page does not exist
Checkout: Page does not exist

In the cart, the check out button sends me back to the cart over and over again (wrong link?!)
Please help to get a solution as the theme is not working this way.
