Hello , when i do the update my site is broke, i dont know why, i updated the theme then i updated the plugin xstore core, i provide you the link of a pre production can you check and try the update and tell me if there is an issue ? if there is no issue, can you tell me how you do the update? thank you

Hello,

You use too old version. Provide us with FTP access to your site. We’ll help you with the update.

Here are my cpanel accesses. Can you show me how to do that by doing it on the preproduction and not on the site that is currently live, so that I can then reproduce it. thank you so much I have several sites with your theme with which I have the same problems unfortunately, your help will allow me to update them all

Hello,

We don’t need your cPanel. Please, create FTP and provide us with FTP access only.
If you need help with other sites we would recommend you to create stagin sites(full copy of the production) and provide us with the WP Dashboard and FTP access to sites. We’ll try to help you.

Instagram was missing because Smash Balloon Instagram Feed
plugin was disabled https://gyazo.com/d466c0042ef74d8340bfe8287a7c1bc0 I see that you used plugin to display Instagram instead of the built-in element. I enabled plugin and Instagram is there.

Hello,

Update? I just unzipped the new version of the theme, the new version of the XStore core plugin, resaved theme options and updated all the plugins. That’s all.

Hello,

Take my apologies for the delay in answering. The latest version of the theme you can find in the Downloads area of the ThemeForest account. I used FTP method to update the theme https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ because maybe something went wrong during your update and not all the files were updated, not sure about this. Also, maybe you just did not save theme options after the theme update.
As a rule, auto-update works fine.

So i did the update on an other preproduction by ftp like you explained to me but it doesnt work fine, what do you mean by “theme options after the theme update.” ?? thanks

Hello,

1) You did not update all the theme files. Some of them were missing and caused js error in customizer. I reuploaded theme folder again.
2) After that I went to XStore > Theme Options > and clicked the save options button https://gyazo.com/c8d683bc954a47659c51df3877b68daa
3) Cleared cache and options are ok.

hello ! thank you for all your advices but, i didnt unerdstand how can you know that i didnt uplaod all the files ?you said ” i reuploaded theme folder again” can you tell me from where? because i upload the xstore files from my theme forest account so, i dont understand how can i upload all files, i repeat the process many times, everytime update its wrong…thank you for your help dear

Hello,

I know that not all the files were uploaded because I got a lot of the js errors in the console while checking your site in Customizer mode for example. Errors disappeared once I reuploaded files.
I installed the File manager plugin. Uploaded theme archive to wp-content/themes/ folder. Then extracted theme archive using File manager plugin with overwriting of the old files https://prnt.sc/18q3uf5
