Hello Guys,

and another question 🙂

i need to remove the left sidebar from the checkput page. I need my checkout page more clear.

I ve highlighit it with red in this link: http://cubrain.ro/remove.jpg

Please give me a hint!

as I have kind of the same problem I’d like to add it here so Movileanu and me can get a general answer for that issue.
I want to remove the sidebar just from the category overview page. Doing that on the /shop page does not work.

Hello,

Navigate to Pages->Checkout->Edit->in the right side find Page Layout field->Sidebar Position and select without sidebar.

Hi Robert.

For my case of the Woocommerce shop page I tried that before and it did not work. I was not sure if this issue is WooCommerce or theme-related.
So should I ask WooCommerce for help?

Hello creeb,

In your case Navigate to Theme Options->Product Page Layout->Hidden sidebar->select On and select Layout withoue sidebar. Look at screenshot: http://prntscr.com/5h3dn2

I am really sorry that I did not explain correctly.
After I did that the Sidebar disappears as I hoped: http://adrianarica.com/shop/

But my point is that I need that sidebar for the following pages just as you have it on your demo: https://www.8theme.com/demo/legenda/product-category/men/
If I do it the way you recommended I also lose the sidebar on the following pages with the listed products.

Is there a solution?

Hello creeb,

You can disable sidebar on shop page and select sidebar position in Single Product Page (http://prntscr.com/5h3seo) Don’t forget select some widgets in Appearance->Widgets->Single Product Page Sidebar (http://prntscr.com/5h3stx)

Thanks, that definitely made sense but it still does not work unfortunately.
First I created the theme settings as you suggested, then enabled single product page sidebar for the shop pages and finally tried different widgets for that side bar in the appearance section.

All of the shop pages still do not have a sidebar:

Hello @creeb,

As I understood you correctly you want to hide sidebar for Shop page and display it for categories pages, don’t you?
Unfortunately there is no such possibility. There is one sidebar that can be displayed for Shop page and Product Categories pages. You can hide or show sidebar on a single product page.
Other way is to create a new page for shop and use Products element from Visual Composer editor and display it without sidebar, but keep sidebar settings in Theme Options > Products Page Layout.
