Bugs When Updating Theme - by Scott - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hi there.

I’m having an issue with the theme. You can see when you visit https://trophies.co.za/ that it seems there is a duplicated header/menu. I then updated the theme and the site looked very different – I had to restore a backup. I have set up a staging site and done the update there so you can see what I mean.

How can I fix this update issue?

Hello,

Could you, please, restore the copy of your site before the update?
Do this and reply back. We’ll take a closer look at the problem after that.

The copy on trophies.co.za is the version before updating the theme. The staging site has the updated theme version. Please see the private notes for the link to that.

Hello,

I have updated production site and created header using header builder. Point is that we removed built-in header layouts and you can use Theme Options > Header builder only to create header.
Check your site now.

Hi Olga

Thanks, it’s starting to look better. Originally, the ‘All Departments’ dropdown menu on the left was permanently open on desktop. I see now that you have to hover to open it up. Is this feature no longer available?

Hello,

Go to Theme Options > Header builder > All department > Change All Departments Visibility according to your needs.
