I’m attempting to make my site SSL compatible (which it is) but it appears the theme has some issues with this. The social-network images in the social widget are coming up as http:// and not https:// according to whynopadlock.com. This is making it so no ‘secure padlock’ shows up on my site. Any fix for this?
Hello,
Concerning the mixed content you can refer to this article https://managewp.com/wordpress-ssl-settings-and-how-to-resolve-mixed-content-warnings
Try to use one of the solutions.
Thank you.

Any idea where the social icons exist in the template files then? I’ve dug through just about every file and only found some references in the footer.php which I changed the url to as directed in the link you sent. That didn’t work.
The link you provided pretty much tells me that your theme is coded incorrectly from what I get from it.
“You now know that the plugin or theme you’re using isn’t coded properly. It may be a quick fix or need significant modification. Before working on fixing it, you have to ask yourself, “Do I really need this?” because if this is wrong, I bet other things are wrong. Sometimes an uninstall can be healthy.”
Hello,
Please provide us with a link to your site where social icons are shown, wp-admin panel and FTP credentials in Private Content.
Thank you.
