Nitch-market demo customize doesn’t work

    Hi all ,
    I bought another domain , and import Demo “nitch market”, weird things happened… (I bought first domain and use Demo “organic”, everything’s good )

    1. when making menu, the “Add menu items ” area doesn’t have “product categories”, so I can’t add my product categories to the main.

    2. when customizing the website, the color , the font size … can’t be changed, e.g.: main header background color change color but doesn’t respond,
    or main menu font size (content zoom) change but doesn’t respond,
    or Typography body font color can’t be changed ,
    maybe there’ll be more style can’t be changed.
    3. I’m customizing my first website using “organic” as a test, its customize is good.

    4. I tried to import the Demo “nitch market” AGAIN, but found all problems are still there, and worse, as now there’re two menus , two headers on the website… please help please

    Hello,

    1/ Appearance > Menus > Screen options > enable Product categories
    2/ Clear cache (from cache plugin and browser cache) before checking changes on the frontend.
    Theme Options > Speed Optimization > Menu Dropdown Ajax Loading, Menu Cache, Static Blocks Cache > Off. Activate mentioned options once all changes to the header/menu will be done.
    4/ It is recommended to run import on a fresh WordPress installation. In your case menu items were imported 2 times, so go to Appearance > Menus and delete duplicated items.

    I followed your steps and solved all the problem. You’re such a professional, thanks again.

    So if I’m gonna change and import another demo, I may meet this duplicated problems, I just need to delete the duplicated items, right?

    You’re welcome!

    It is recommended to run import on a fresh WordPress installation. For this you can use WordPress Database Reset plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/ The plugin can be used to remove all the existing content and install a new version from scratch. It is recommended to disable the theme https://prnt.sc/unle03 before the reset.
