Hi there,
I am in the process of building a new website for the business I work for. The current website is still live, and I am building the new site in a sub-folder. Both wordpress and the theme were installed weeks ago, and I have had no troubles until yesterday.
Yesterday the current website kept going down intermittently throughout the day. I contacted our host (Crucial) and was told that they saw a substantial spike in our usage for the day. They doubled our capabilities to see if that would help, but we were still spiking.
Yesterday was my first day really diving into page creation using the visual editor. I’m thinking this was the issue. Any suggestions on how we can avoid this problem moving forward?

Thank you
Hello,
Sorry for a long delay.
If you use visual composer for editing pages, then it creates those requests.
We recommend you to update the theme to the latest version according to our instructions:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/upgrade
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/visual_composer
After that you need contact plugins authors regarding this issue as we don’t provide extended support for plugins implemented in the theme.

Is this a problem that other people have experienced with your theme? Will updating the theme help?
Thank you.
In reading the documentation associated with the new update to the theme… I have to admit that I am pretty disappointed. You built the theme with Visual Composer included. Visual Composer is crashing our website. Now, I have the option to update the theme and lose all the pages that we have created… then leaving me without the use of Visual Composer in the theme. You say you do not provide extended support or plugins implemented in the theme, but you sold the theme with that plugin included. It was part of the package.
Since Visual Composer was included in the theme that i purchased from you, I do not have a a purchase code for Visual Composer. That means, that instead of helping me resolve the issue, you are handing me off to someone else, without the means to actually get support from them, without spending more money.
I have already doubled our hosting from what was previously posted. We are still experiencing the same problems.
Hello,
We’ve separated the plugin from the theme due to the necessity. The theme update won’t crash all your pages. Perhaps you’ll need to recreate just some of them, but only those ones where you use Parallax effect and “Sections” element.
According to the queries we’ll contact the plugin support team regarding your request and wait for their reply.

Eva Kemp.
Thank you for contacting plugin support. I look forward to hearing back from you. I love your theme, but obviously can’t have our business website crashing every time I update a page with visual composer.
Hello,
We think will be better to continue our conversation through emails. Please, check email which you provided on this forum.
