Hello,
I try to disable Yith Wishlist (version 3.4.0) on categories archives and despite I have set “Show Add to wishlist in loop” to off, it is still shown for visitors.
If I disable the plugin it goes away, but I want it to be shown on product page.
On loop it slows down the site, when it is used with Litespeed ESI.
I cleared caches many times, I disabled cache, but nothing changed.
I use lingerie theme with elementor. Is it a function on theme’s files?
How can I disable it from loop?
Thanks
Hello,
If the Wishlist plugin is enabled our theme displays a wishlist button for the product card on hover, it does not depend on the plugin option. Besides YITH Wishlist plugin calls their scripts and styles for all pages, no matter in the option is enabled for the loop or not. So, we can do nothing with that, unfortunately.

Hi,
so, it would be better the theme to have an option for this setting, in order to choose where to display the wishlist button.
Can we add a function to stop loading wishlist button on product card on loop?
Thanks
Hello,
Even if you don’t show the wishlist button on loop plugin calls scripts and styles there and on all the other pages. You can enable any other default WP theme and check. So, displaying of the wishlist button on the loop changes nothing. We could provide you custom CSS or edit PHP files to hide that if you want but it won’t disable YITH Wishlist files.
Regards
Ok I understand.
I would prefer to edit PHP files, so that I could stop displaying the button on product card, without loading requests for every product in loop. If possible, I could add a function for this in child theme.
Thanks
Hello,
Provide us with WP Dashbaord and FTP access to your site, please.
We’ll check that hover effect you use for your products and try to help you.

Hello Olga,
ok I send you the credentials.
This site has also many times the problem with off-canvas login too.
In addition I have seen, that if we use the Popup as “Product added notification type”, the Remove product button on popup gets stuck.
Thanks
Hello,
1) Add to wishlist button removed from the product card.
2) I tested that another site that you provided does not have issue with the login form once Protect WP-Admin plugin is disabled. So, you can disable either plugin or off-canvas login to allow users to log in from the My account page only.
3) provide us with a video of the issue with the remove button for better understanding. Do you have any errors in the console during this?
Regards
1) Thank you! Are all changed files in child?
2) There was an update of Woocommerce and Litespeed plugins yesterday. I will observe it to see if this fixed it on both sites.
3) I enabled the Popup notification, so you can add a product in cart and try to remove it from the popup. As logged in, I don’t show any error in the console. As visitor, I see an error, but it may not be related.
Hello,
1) Yes.
2) Ok
3) I passed the issue to our developers. I’ll inform you once they fix the problem.
Regards
Hi,
have you found a solution about the 3rd issue?
Thanks
Hello,
Looks that WooCommerce removed some hooks that we use to refresh the popup. We are trying to find the solution for this and will release the fix in the next theme update. Till that happened you can change the notification after adding to cart to something else in Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > Product Added Notification Type.
Regards
Hello,
Fixed. Check now.

Hello Olga,
