Slider missing images since last theme update

Our site features a slider on the home page and the about page. Since the last theme update these don’t work correctly. There is a background image that loads *most* of the time but sometimes fails, and then an overlay image in a layer that is no longer displaying.

In the debugger i can see often the image actually is successfully server by the web server however it is not displayed

If I enable a basic WP theme (2021) then the slider works as it should.

I forces the lazy loading to be handled by the slider and it made no difference

Hello,

Thank you for using XStore.
Try to disable all the third-party plugins, that do not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ , clear all cache, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is a reason for the problem.
If any further assistance is needed from our side, provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

Hello,

I had already tried to disable all other plugins, but i went through the exercise again.. the issue still exists as i mentioned previously if i switch to another them it works.. I have provided access details for you to investigate

Hello,

It looks the Lazy load of the images (Theme Options > Speed optimization) causes this issue. I have passed the problem to our developers. I’ll inform you once they fix the issue.

Am I able to know what was changed so that I can address the issue if it occurs again ?

I can’t see any reference to the changes.

We made changes in the theme JS file. Fix will be included in the next theme update.
