How to properly edit a style css sheet in child

Hello. I need to edit some styles that are in this style sheet. But it is located in the main theme. As far as I know, after updating the theme, all changes in this style sheet will disappear.

How can I do this in a child theme? Just copy the file to the child theme?

Hello,

Do not copy the file, just add your custom CSS code into xstore-child/style.css or Theme Options > Theme custom CSS.
