Do you have any clue why? When I click on Activate nothing happens and there is no WooC settings in the Dashboard. I have tried to install a new WooCommerce with the same version 6.3.1 but it doesn’t work. Theme is 8.1.2 and Core is 4.1.2.. Seems like some kind of conflict maybe. Php is 8.0.

    Hello,

Do you have the mentioned issue when the other theme is activated? For example to with the default Storefront theme, please. Let me know about the results.

    Regards

I didn’t have the Storefront theme, the only other theme I had installed was TwentyTwentyTwo and it was the same when I activated that theme, WooC couldn’t be activated and it doesn’t show up in the dashboard view. The strange thing is that I started to build the site on a different domain as a developer site and it works just fine there, for address look at private content area. Very strange all of it!
Some other thing that is strange is that when I try to re-install woocommerce from the Customise dashboard I’m directed to what seems like a Russian WooCommerce site even though the address says and shows https://uk.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/
What can it be? My problem (that is the question of the day!)

    Hello,

If you can’t activate the WooCommerce plugin even with the default theme it means that our XStore theme is not the reason of the issue. Contact WooCommerce support with this question, please https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/
I could take a look at your site if you provide us with WP Dashboard access but I’m not sure if I help you because we are able to help only with the issues related to our theme. In case problem appears even with the default theme we can’t help as a rule.

    Regards

I think your right, something went wrong with the database when I updated the theme. I am not a specialist in databases but I have a collegue who is so I will check with him. Maybe try to reinstall the theme all over and hoping that the database will remember what went on… Is that a possibility?

    Hello,

I don’t know. I need to check your backend first and need FTP access to enable WP debug to check the debug log and the error you have to tell you something.

    Regards
