I’m wondering: That topic you pointed out is from 2021 and Version 8.1.1 update from February 23, 2022 there is this:
IMPROVED: Compatibility of XStore Email Builder with WPML plugin

So, the answer is still valid? And what Version 8.1.1 update means?

We improved our wpml-config.xml list with Email builder fields to make them translatable
According to the next request:
It will be nice to have the option to translate the Email Builder templates into other languages according to user selected language during the purchase.

You need to allow translation for Email builder templates -> https://prnt.sc/uWMRkFFioFJw
Once you enabled it you will have next possibilities on Email builder templates
