Hi Team,

Just purcahsed Royal theme and hanving problem with demo pages. Followed the instrcution and successfully import the basic demo pages & contents (although the revolution slider contents were not imported). However, the installation of other sample individual pages are not working. There is no response when I click install sample pages. Can you take a look my site? or is there a way to have them imported manually?

Hello,

We can’t connect to FTP getting this error:
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

Are you using non standard port for FTP?
Please check it.

Hello Eva, well, it’s standard port. you can try port 21 since that’s how it says on my ftp client. Also, please try Passive Mode.

Or you can try the webftp access here (sorry, but the site is in Korean language since the server is located there); http://chaefarm.com/webftp/
– first box: please put chaefarm.com (Please delete the defult value there first and enter this manually)
– second text box: Please input ID
– third text box: please input Password.

If non of them is working, please provide your IP address so i will ask my server hosting guys to open your specific IP. Currently the setting is open it for all so you can get it. But somehow my hosting guys are bit strict and their defualt is blocking overseas IP address. so i’m suspecting this maybe the reason why you can’t get it. it normally works when we set a spcific IP address to open it though.

Hello Eva,

I’ve checked with my hosting guys but they do not allow to enable this function due to security reason. Any other way around for me to have those sample pages?

Sorry, but to import them you need have that function enabled.

Hello Eva,

Nah, I’ve already talked to their manager but there is no way that they can open it just for me since the hosting is shared with other accounts. It would effect on their whole system.

I didn’t see this comming since it’s the first time i’m using the premium wp theme in Korean server hosting. They said it’s their industry standard not to enable this function.

Anyway, since this is just sample pages that i need to set-up, can you help to find alternative way around? I actually purchased your theme because of those awesome pre-made samples.

Me too. I’m trying to create 4 pages but every time I install a demo, the layout create other problem.
You could also help me to import other demo pages?
I think it’s enough to have an xml file

I’ve done it all, thats not my Issue.

I just wonder how I can get the default theme shop versions.

I see in my backend the ALBATROSS AGENCY JEWELRY STORE …..

But not the ECOMMERCE DEFAULT page of your demo.

Just this version would be interested for me.

Hello @Mem0rex,

The default home page as on our demo is called “Home” in Pages section of wp-admin panel.
If you want to have this page as a front page you need select it in Settings > Reading.

Please ask your host to increase memory_limit value and enable allow_url_fopen function. After that try to install base demo content again in Theme Options > Import/Export.

Sorry, but your server configuration doesn’t allow to import even .xml file manually.
So those functions must be changed. Can’t your host to enable them even for some time?

I have 85 MB of memory storage that is definitely enough.

I think the problem is the allow_url_fopen function.

Can you not send me a zip file with the data?

What surprises me the other demo pages I see and can use it.

Hmmm… Ok I have set the allow_url_fopen=on over the php.ini.

But I still can not see the default demo.
