Hello Good evening,

I have an issue when Installing theme from uploaded file: XStore_Responsive_Woocommerce_Wordpress_Theme.zip

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme installation failed.

Hi,

You need to extract the theme from the zip file.

The zip file you received as a part of your purchase is not the theme.

The theme is contained within: XStore_ Multipurpose_Woocommerce_Wordpress_Theme\XStore Theme

Look for the zip file that looks like: “XStore_Theme_vX.X.X.zip”. Extract this to your desktop. This is the actual theme file you need to install.

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme.
