I am using Royal WordPress theme on this domain

http://www.easywaystobettergrades.com/

and i use background color for Row but its not working. And also theme option is also not working.

Just so I am being clear. The I am trying to get the background colours to span the full width of the page as per the theme examples but I am struggling. Any advice or suggestions please?

Might that also explain a problem that I am having with the navigation bar. When edits are made to it it reverts back to being static and not transparent. Would these things be related?
