Hello,
My pages have a white space and therefor make it horizontally scrollable on phone and tablet.
Could you help me identify the cause of this issue?
Regards,
Ivo
Hello, Ivo Eijgenraam,
Please try to use the next custom CSS code to disable the scroll:
.template-container + a {
text-indent: -99999px !important;
}
Place the code into Theme Options > Theme custom CSS > Global.
Best Regards,
8Themes Team
Hello Rose,
Sorry for the late response. I have some other issue with my customizer.
The CSS doesn’t seem to fix the issue. Is there anything other I can try?
Regards,
Ivo
Hello, Ivo Eijgenraam,
The code is not visible on your site.
Do you use a cache of some sort (maybe from server side or CDN) that may display an old version of the site without the code added?

8Themes Team
Hi Rose,
I have tried for a while, but cannot get the customizer to work (another topic I have running).
Is it possible to add this code as a snippet or in a place other than the customizer?
Regards,
Ivo
Hello, Ivo Eijgenraam,
Thank you for the response.
The code can be added in style.css file of child theme.
As we can see, you do not have the child theme right now on site, so we would recommend you install it.
Download the child theme archive from this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate the child theme.
Please note that the child theme does not inherit the theme options of the parent theme, if you enable the child theme, you need to import options from the parent theme.
Go to Theme Options (when the parent theme is activated) > Import/Export > download the export file. After that activate the child theme > go to Theme Options > Import/Export > import your options and reload the page without saving! Save options only after reloading. Check your site after that, and use the child theme.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Rose,
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the Import/export also leads to the Customizer and this leads to a infinite loading-screen for me. Is there any workaround for this?
Thank you.
Regards,
Ivo
Hello, Ivo Eijgenraam,
Do you mean your Theme Options/Customiser doesn’t work still?
” but cannot get the customizer to work (another topic I have running)” – please provide URL of this topic.
We’ve checked and Theme Options loading fine for us on your site. Please clear cache and record a video of the problem.
https://prnt.sc/CQL1Oo2GkJ4r – this is on your site, so you need to update XStore – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
Please do not update Core plugin before the theme update next time.

Hi Rose,
I thought you would be able to see my other posts 🙂

At the moment I’m contacting my webhost to see if it might be a memory problem or such.
I will update and will record a video of the problem. Do you have a preferred way of receiving this?

Ivo
Hello, Ivo Eijgenraam,
Thank you for the response.
Upload the video on a filesharing service and provide the URL via the Private Content area, please.
Do I correctly understand that when B2BKing plugin is disabled you can work with the customizer?
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Rose,
Thanks, I will find time this weekend.
No, disabling all plugins except Woocommerce and the XStore essential plugins and clearing cache does not help. It’s also a problem that existed from before we started using the B2BKing plugin.

Ivo
Hello, Ivo Eijgenraam,
Please provide FTP access, we will take a closer look at the problem.
To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

Hi Rose,

Hi Rose,
I’m not sure if you did anything, but it works now.
I have removed some (also disabled) plugins, updated some things server-side and installed lightspeed ( apparently my host is using lightspeed server). I think it was the physical memory that was overloaded, I had 503 issues aswell.
Thanks for the help anyway! You have been very fast and responsive.
Regards,
Ivo
