Products-Page with no products does not prints that Cat description :(

Hi again I have a problem with X-Store theme that is related to products_cat pages with no products

your theme just prints a Not-Found Message and do not prints the cat Descriptions (before-products-desc && after-products-desc)

and I’ve forced to add my own PHP codes inside the no-products-found.php file inside the theme! to Avoid SEO issues

and I could’nt use the Child-Theme because it had bug issues with the hole Header of my site (When i activated the child the Header jut Vanished :/)

I will be very satisfied if you add a PHP snnipet like my custom PHP code inside that PHP-file

Now i solved the problem in my own may but im sure my customer will have a lot of problems when he/she upgrade X-Store theme to a newer Version!

Hello, Oslov,

I’ve passed your request on to our dev team. They will be able to review it after the weekend.

Please note that the child theme does not inherit the theme options of the parent theme, if you enable the child theme, you need to import options from the parent theme.
Go to Theme Options > Import/Export > download the export file. After that install the child theme > enable/activate it and go to Theme Options > Import/Export > import your options and reload the page without saving! Save options only after reloading. Check your site after that.

one more question I just installed the child theme & imported the settings everything now is ok!

Can I overide this PHP file no-products-found.php located inside Xstore->Woocomerce->Loop->no-products-found.php

with my own PHP code inside the Child-Theme?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. You can copy the file (no-products-found.php) from the Parent Theme and paste it under the same location in the Child Theme and customize it as per your requirements.

Alternatively, you can try overriding the functions. unfor there is no function in that PHP file to override and i created that PHP file with my own codes inside the same directories into the Child-theme but It not worked at all!

could you please give more assist to me?
