How do I make an attribute filter?
search by brand, display size, edge type, hard drive type…
example: https://prnt.sc/GIbkOwMvpFo1
Hello, @Thekoki,
To create an attribute filter, you must first add a new attribute under Dashboard > Products > Attributes, as per your needs.
After that, please navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and add the 8theme Swatches Filter widget to the shop sidebar, selecting the attribute as per your requirements. For a better reference, please see the image here: https://postimg.cc/XZcf1dFQ
In order to search by brand, you will need to add the 8theme Filters Products by Brands widget to the shop sidebar as per your requirements. Please refer to the image provided here for further reference: https://postimg.cc/GHgzCF42

If I saw this…
but i love when i activate a category
to activate the filter of that category.
For example:
– TV category: smart TV, screen size… to open those attributes.
– PC category: laptops, desktop, screen size… to open those attributes
Hello, @Thekoki,
We regret to inform you that it is not possible to achieve your desired outcome with the current version of the theme. Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page.
If you would like to pursue paid customization services, we recommend submitting a customization request to the WPKraken team via their website: https://wpkraken.io/?ref=8theme.
Alternatively, You can use any third-party plugin for it, which better meets your requirements but at your own risk.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
