Hi,
I configured apple pay with woocommerce and the apple pay button appears on the cart page but not on the checkout one. I visited the troubleshooting page from Woocommerce and verified every single step with no success.
https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-payments/payment-methods/apple-pay/
There is in the end a section that says, that if the problem appears only in specific locations it might be a problem of my theme. Can you help?
“Apple Pay button does not appear at a specific location
If the Apple Pay button is missing from only some locations, but not others (say, it appears on the Checkout page but not on the product page), this can happen for a number of different reasons:
The product may not be compatible with express checkouts.
Your theme may not support the necessary WooCommerce hooks, which are needed for Apple Pay to show up.”
Please be aware that in order to see the button, you must visit the site with a device that has ApplePay installed and configured as a valid payment option.
Thanks,
Inés
Hello, Inesita,
Please check how it works when the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront is activated.
Let us know the result.

Should i activate the maintenance mode before? If I change the theme back and forth from Storefront to xstore there won’t be any changes to the web because of doing so?
Just making sure before going ahead…
Inés
Hello, Inesita,
If your website is live and you do not have a test installation (staging site – full copy of live site), you can activate the maintenance mode while performing this test.
Only widgets may change positions after switching themes. To avoid this, please open the Appearance > Widgets tab before switching themes, so that you can move the widgets to the correct area after switching back.

Hi Rose!
thanks, I setup a staging site and checked with the Storefront theme. The apple pay button shows both on the cart and checkout. Can you have a look why it does not show up in XStore checkout?
Thanks,
Inés
