Hi,
we are setting up a website with xstore, and we are facing a few issues :
– header going over the boxed area when sticky
– category image is set as breadcrumb background image
– how to show category image before the breadcrumb (as in this page here: https://www.nurymaroquinerie.fr/guess)
– how to show subcategory thumbnail in the parent category page (as the three icons in this page here : https://www.nurymaroquinerie.fr/guess)
– product image on product list is stretched by default no matter which setting we set (off/on)
– the shopping cart layout in the editor and on the website is not the same
– footer static block not displaying on the homepage
– copyright text should be in white, the color is not changing
– can we use different Single Product Builders by category (for example: one with request a quote and the other with add to cart)
– add to cart does not work on some products (for example : https://webdev.megabags.fr/valise-trolley-souple-cabine-samsonite-bleisure-123559/) or (https://webdev.megabags.fr/sac-porte-travers-longchamp-le-foulonne/)
Thanks !
Hello, i-Visio,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
Please submit different questions via separate topics next time – https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/
1/ Try to disable XStore Advanced Sticky Header plugin and let us know the result.
2/ Please provide URL of such category page.
3/ Add content into the Description area for a category.
You can select the position via Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > Shop Page Banner Position, because the category description content takes the position option from there.
4/ Create a static block with the desired content and add it into the Description area for a category.
For example – https://prnt.sc/HhirATNket-y
5/ Also, about size of product images read here – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/product-images/
https://woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/
It is recommended to use a graphics editor and prepare product images (make them the same size) before uploading images to your media gallery.
Also, it would be better to disable “Stretch product images option” option via Theme Options.
6/ “the shopping cart layout in the editor and on the website is not the same” – please provide screenshots. You can use Lightshot screenshot or Gyazo tool to make screenshots and share the links here, or you can use a file sharing service such as WeTransfer https://wetransfer.com/ to upload ready images there and provide us with URLs.
7/ We’ve checked the footer on your Home page and can see it. Please clear cache and check one more time, or record a video of the problem for us.
8/ Please add the next code in Theme Options > Theme custom CSS > Global:
.footer-bottom {
color: white;
}
9/ Yes, you can achieve it using Multiple templates – https://prnt.sc/KeVnqDJXXxCn
10/ It is because of your settings – https://prnt.sc/IXehTB_1jTME
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

Hi,
Thanks for your answers, we managed to solve most of the issues.
For the point number 10 :
10/ It is because of your settings – https://prnt.sc/IXehTB_1jTME
Even after adding stock quantity, it still wouldn’t add to cart. But only for some products, and we cannot figure out why it happens.
However, we found some new issues :
– single product builder template doesn’t get saved (I change the colours, sizes, fonts, margins, paddings… and when I hit save and close, I come back to the page and nothing changes)
– in the front nothing happens either, it seems like the category condition isn’t being applied
– translations aren’t working : we donwloaded your French translations .po and uploaded them to Loco translate (Core plugin + Theme) and nothing happens, the texts in english are all still in english.
– product sub categories widget doesn’t display on the sidebar, even after cleaning cache
– can we not use the title in the breadcrumbs ? We want to put it in the category description (example: https://webdev.megabags.fr/valise-souple-samsonite/ we want the “VALISE SOUPLE SAMSONITE” to disappear but to still keep the breadcrumbs.)
Thanks a lot !!
Hello, i-Visio,
Thank you for your response.
10/ In order to troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing, we suggest that you first try disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that are not bundled with XStore. You can refer to the following link for a list of included plugins: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ . Additionally, please clear the cache of your browser and check again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing problems.
11/ Single Product Builder Default template is empty right now, so no content is shown. Please check and add content.
Please do not add new questions here, open up new topics https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/ , to prevent a mess in our conversation.
“translations aren’t working” – it is because of incorrect names, please rename xstore-core-fr.po to xstore-core-fr_FR.po and xstore-fr.po to xstore-fr_FR.po
“product sub categories widget doesn’t display on the sidebar, even after cleaning cache” – on whish page? As we can see, this works fine – https://prnt.sc/32nSVrQJL0Jd on Shop page https://prnt.sc/Evmr-5sZIGyD
“can we not use the title in the breadcrumbs ?” – do you want to do this for product categories only? Try to use the next custom CSS code:
.tax-product_cat .page-heading .title {
display: none;
}
