I’m facing an issue with the images on my online shop. Despite all my efforts to make them sharp and clear, they still seem to be of mediocre quality. I don’t understand why this is happening, as I’ve used high-resolution images and followed all the best practices in image processing.
I’ve tried checking if the image quality was affected by file size or format, but that didn’t solve the issue. I’ve also checked if compression settings were correct, but everything seemed normal.
I’m frustrated because these low-quality images are impacting my customers’ shopping experience. They can’t see product details and this may discourage them from buying from me.
Therefore, I’m looking for solutions to fix this issue and improve the quality of my images.
here is the link of the shop page :
Hello, @PEYO,
Typically, the minimum resolution you should aim for with your WooCommerce product images is 800px x 800px. The maximum recommended resolution should be no higher than 1000px x 1000px. However, for better quality, you should aim as high as possible.
If your store is selling Glasses, you are recommended to set your WooCommerce product image at its minimum resolution is 800 px x 800 px. We also suggest you set a higher pixel than that. The reason is that your higher-quality images enable themselves to be better perceived.
In case, your products are complicated and detailed items, it would be better for you to upload larger images 2000px wide. With this size, your potential consumers could zoom in to observe all the details of your product. But a very important note is that you should avoid uploading images that are too large. Any oversized image increases the risk of slowing down your site. This is why sales will also be affected.
Further, you can read and follow the instruction written in these articles:
A.https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/product-images/
C.https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/ -These settings come from Woocommerce, not from our theme.
We hope for your understanding.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
