How can I remove the background image from the tab section specifically in mobile view?

How can I remove the background image from the tab section specifically in mobile view? I have duplicated the tab section for mobile view and removed the background image, but there is now a blank space where the background image used to be. Is there a way to remove this space from the tab section only in mobile view?
