Product video doesn’t appear - by Marta

I have tried to insert a YouTube video with the embed code and with the share code and neither works. I have selected the video position “first”.

This is the product in which I have inserted the video:

Any idea what the problem is?

Hello Marta,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

It does not work because there is another gallery, from another plugin.
Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce plugin overwrites the file so the video option and its position does not work.

Hi, ok thank you. But something weird happened, when you click on one of the colour variations, the gallery changes and the video no longer appears. Are the videos not compatible with the variation gallery?

Hello Marta,

We would like to inform you that when the Variation Gallery is enabled on the product page, the product will only display the Variation Image Gallery and not the product video and product gallery simultaneously.

This is a default functionality of the Variation Gallery option. If you would like to request a change to this, you can post it to our taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/, and our development team will be able to review it.
