    Hi Guys

We’re having some issues with slow loading times particularly on mobile devices.

We have spoked to our server people who have advised no issues. We have switched themes and still getting the same issue. We have also tried going through each different setting within the speeds settings of the theme but they make no difference. We have de-activated all plugins and the culprit is the elementor plugin. The load speed of the demo of the X Store Sport demo is lightening quick. Do you have any suggestions of how we can load elementor as quickly as the demo theme as ours takes 4-5 seconds just start loading content for mobile devices which is too slow.

    Many thanks

    Hello, @redarmy2023,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

General site speed depends on many factors – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/ , not just on the theme.

Google Pagespeed always scores 20-50 points for mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress.

We suggest that you follow the instructions provided by Google PageSpeed Insights, for example: https://postimg.cc/hJ76mMnj

Eliminate render-blocking resources – you may try solutions described here https://onlinemediamasters.com/eliminate-render-blocking-resources-wordpress/

Reduce initial server response time – contact your hosting provider, because it is server-side.

Slow loading times can be frustrating for website visitors, especially on mobile devices. Here are some suggestions to improve the loading speed of Elementor on your website:

    1. Optimize Images: Large image sizes can significantly impact loading times. Make sure to compress and optimize your images before uploading them to your website.

    2. Minify CSS and JavaScript: Reduce the file sizes of your CSS and JavaScript files by minifying them. This removes unnecessary characters, spaces, and comments. You can use plugins like WP Rocket to handle this optimization.

    3. Content Delivery Network (CDN): Consider using a CDN service like Cloudflare or MaxCDN. A CDN stores copies of your website’s static files (CSS, JavaScript, images) on servers located in different geographic locations. This reduces the distance between the user and the server, resulting in faster loading times.

    4. Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images and videos. Lazy loading defers the loading of non-visible media until the user scrolls to that section, which helps improve initial page load times.

    5. Reduce External Requests: Minimize the number of external requests your website makes, such as scripts and stylesheets from third-party sources. Each request adds to the loading time, so try to limit them only to essential elements.

    6. Evaluate Server Performance: While your server provider may have indicated no issues, it’s still worth assessing the performance of your server. Ensure that your hosting plan meets the requirements of your website’s traffic and consider upgrading if necessary.

Implementing these optimizations should help improve the loading speed of Elementor on your website, particularly on mobile devices. Remember to monitor your site’s performance using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix to measure the impact of your changes and identify any remaining issues.

    Hi Guys

We have literally tried all of the above but are still getting the same slow speeds. The main culprit of the slow load speed is the elementor plugin & Xstore core plugins. When we disable them specific plugins the website is lightening speed fast. It’s not a server issue as we have spoken to them on numerous occasions and optimised as well as testing other themes which are also super quick without the elementor plugin & Xstore core.

Is it possible to get a refund as the theme is simply not quick enough for what we require.

    Many Thanks
