I decided I wanted a much newer version of Essential Grid to use some of the features they’ve added since the version included in your theme, so I bought a copy myself.
However, your theme edits the Essential Grid page to remove version information and replaces it with an info box saying: “Please note that this plugin came bundled with a theme. The use of the Essential Grid is limited to this theme only. If you need support from the plugin author ThemePunch or you want to use Essential Grid with an other theme you will need an extra single license available at CodeCanyon.” Your theme also removes the ability to enter my license number to get upgrades.
Could you tell me how to revert everything with Essential Grid back to the “full” version?
(I have looked through the theme files, but can’t seem to find it!)
Hello,
Please try to remove the plugin that was added in our theme and install the one you have purchased separately.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
I’ve tried deleting and installing new, but that didn’t work. Is there an entry in the database that may cause it?
ThemePunch/Essential Grid has suggested it is something in the theme, not in the plugin.
Hello,
You need edit the file royal/framework/theme-functions.php, remove the code
if(function_exists( 'set_ess_grid_as_theme' )){
set_ess_grid_as_theme();
}
And you’ll be able to register the plugin.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Thank you, that works!
