I have read your instructions –
https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
I have 2 questions.
1) as far as I see https://prnt.sc/djhlbRknMBr4, you have no translations at all for the Slovenian language. Is there any point in downloading these files?
2) when loading the plugin there is a message that “the plugin has not been tested with your version of WordPress” (n.b. I have lasz version 6.4). https://prnt.sc/qZmaIEld5X5r
Is it worth using it then?
Hello, MarinaD,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
1/ Yes, there is no translation because no one from the customers shared them, you can be first.
Currently, you need to create a new translation on your own site, for example – https://youtu.be/Ogeqaa4SZV0?feature=shared
2/ Yes, Loco Translate plugins can be used.

thank you for the answer. Please clarify one moment regarding the child theme, because nothing is said about it in your video https://youtu.be/Ogeqaa4SZV0?feature=shared.
If I have an active child theme, then what should I translate the theme to – main or child? or both?
Hello, MarinaD,
We appreciate your prompt response.
The translation should be done for the parent theme, and it will be automatically inherited by the child theme.
The child theme should be translated only in case you added custom code in child theme that includes localization functions.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
