Hi,
when changing the background color of the topheader for one of our custom header templates (Men) from purple to grey, the same effect (grey topheader background color) seems to become visible on single product pages that are unrelated to that specific category. The topheader on these product pages, linked to all the other categories (the default template) should remain purple.
Please see a screenshot of the settings. Can you tell me what we’re doing wrong?
Hello, @Bas Kling,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
We regret to inform you that it is not possible to display the same header with varying configurations across different pages within our system. However, we are pleased to offer a viable alternative that can fulfill your needs. You may create a new header and apply conditional rules to specify the pages on which this header should appear.
Should you wish to alter the color of the header, please proceed as follows:
1. Navigate to “XStore” and then select “XStore Theme Settings.”
2. Enter the “Header Builder” section.
3. Identify the header you intend to customize, labeled as “Multiple Header.”
4. Within the header settings, you will find options to change the top header’s background color.
5. By adhering to these instructions, you can modify the top header’s background color to suit your preference.

Hi Tony,
I think I didn’t explain this correctly.
We already created a new header using the “multiple header” option in Customizer. However, this additional / multiple header, configured to apply to a specific product category and its sub-items, also seems to impact the other product pages which should not be as they are still linked to the default header. We can’t figure out why, which is why I reached out to Xstore.
Hello, @Bas Kling,
Thank you for your response.
We kindly request that you provide us with the URLs of the product pages that are currently incorrectly linked to the default header. This will enable us to review the issue and offer the appropriate assistance.
Best regards,
The 8Theme Team
Since this is our busiest season, we’re gonna table the issue and re-address
