Hi, thanks for your help
1. I made 2 product cards without SKUs (image varible-product). I want a sku for each product variant to manage inventory. On the shop page I want to see two product cards with different colors (as in the image varible-product). But then the system prohibits making a second product card because the sku are duplicated.
How to solve this issue?
2. Single product page. I want when I click on the white color, the URL and Name change to white (image change-single-product-page)
is it possible?
Hello, @Natali,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
1/ We appreciate your inquiry regarding the creation of two product cards with different colors for variable products, each having its own unique SKU. We understand the importance of SKU management for inventory tracking.
After a thorough investigation, we regret to inform you that, in WooCommerce, the system does not permit the use of the same SKU for multiple products. This limitation is inherent to WooCommerce and ensures the accurate tracking of inventory for each unique product.
However, we are committed to finding a solution that best fits your needs. To help organize and showcase your products effectively, we recommend the following approach:
a) Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
b) Go to “Products” and select “Categories.”
c) Create categories based on your desired product differentiators, such as colors.
d) Assign the respective products to their corresponding categories.
By categorizing your products, you can create a more structured presentation on your shop page. Additionally, you can leverage XStore widgets to sort and display products according to these categories, providing a seamless shopping experience for your customers.

2/ Unfortunately, our current theme version does not have built-in functionality for this specific feature.
However, in WordPress, you can set up custom permalinks for your products by navigating to WordPress Settings >> Permalinks. This allows you to choose from a limited set of permalink structures for your products.
For more advanced customizations, such as dynamically changing the URL and product name based on color selection, it requires additional code customization.
