Excerpt (Post Content) doesn’t show after publishing page, just shows 3 dots.

When trying to setup a post list template (loop) and selecting the ‘excerpt’ using Post Content, the preview looks fine and works. But then when I publish the page it just shows three dots. I have switched theme and works perfectly fine with other themes.

Seems as though the theme is breaking something maybe?
