    Hello, @oh.hey.sha,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

Activate a default WordPress theme, such as Storefront, to help isolate the problem. This can be done by navigating to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Themes’ within your WordPress dashboard.

Once the default theme is activated, please monitor your site for the issue in question.

This diagnostic check is crucial in determining the root cause of the problem, The issue is with our theme or not, and will greatly assist us in providing you with the appropriate support. Let us know the result.

Additionally, we strongly advise that you create a complete backup of your website before making any changes. This precautionary measure is to ensure the safety and integrity of your data.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

I’ve activated the storefront theme, the problem doesn’t appear with that theme, but once I reactivate the child theme, it’s there again.

I also noticed that the problem is visible on the homepage when visualizing the catalog (hover on product in catalog).

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

Should the issue continue, please provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can check your settings.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

I’ve tried your recommandations, I’ve disabled all third party plugins. I do not have custom codes in the Child theme yet. The problem isn’t there with the parent theme but I encounter another issue while using the parent ; the single product page is not showing correctly (all is messed up, I got some grey borders all around, the single product page is stuck in the left area…)

You can see the problems on the print screens I’ve took of both themes (child and parent) in the private content area.

    Hello,

We hope this message finds you well.

To address the issue you are experiencing with the borders, we kindly ask that you navigate to the Header Builder, adjust the padding for any element, and ensure to save your changes. Once completed, please refresh the page.

We kindly request that you provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP credentials to facilitate necessary support and maintenance activities.

To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello,

We hope this message finds you well.

We are writing to express our gratitude for your swift response to our previous communication. However, we have noticed that the wp-admin access details were not included in your reply.

Kindly provide us with the necessary wp-admin credentials at your earliest convenience to enable us to proceed accordingly.

    We can’t connect FTP:

Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

Please check it. Try to connect to FTP using FileZilla by yourself and provide us with the correct credentials.
Is there a restriction by IP or something else that doesn’t allow us to connect?

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

Sorry for that. You’ll find the wp-admin access in the private content area.

You should be able to connect now. The hostname doesn’t work , you have to enter the IP of my hosted website (provided in the private area) details are explained here https://support.hostinger.com/en/articles/4480505-how-to-connect-to-your-account-using-ftp

Thank for you help, kind regards.
