    Hello Team,

Is there any known settings you would recommend when using XSTORE/Elementor with Redis Cache?

    Thanks.

    Hello, ProdbyDaan,

We appreciate you contacting us with your inquiry about the integration of Redis Cache with the XSTORE/Elementor theme.

We would like to inform you that we have not conducted official tests on the compatibility of Redis Cache with our theme. As such, we are unable to provide a definitive assurance or recommendation regarding its compatibility.

    Here are some base recommendations:

    1. **Persistent Object Cache**: Ensure that Redis is configured as a persistent object cache for WordPress. This will help reduce database load by storing query results that can be reused.

    2. **Cache Exclusion**: Exclude pages that are dynamic and should not be cached, such as cart, checkout, and account pages, to prevent any potential issues with user sessions.

    3. **Cache Lifespan**: Set an appropriate cache lifespan that balances performance with content freshness. Depending on your website update frequency, a lifespan of a few hours to a day might be suitable.

    4. **Database Optimization**: Regularly clean up your database to remove transients and other temporary data that might not be necessary, ensuring Redis cache is not storing unnecessary data.

    5. **Cache Preloading**: If your caching plugin supports it, enable cache preloading to generate cache for all published pages automatically. This ensures that users are served cached pages even for their first visit.

    6. **Monitor Cache Usage**: Keep an eye on your Redis cache usage and performance. Tools like Redis Object Cache plugin or hosting provider tools can provide insights into cache hits and misses.

    7. **Backup**: Always maintain regular backups of your website before making any changes to your caching setup.

Please note that while these are general recommendations, the optimal settings may vary based on your specific hosting environment and website configuration. If you are not comfortable making these changes yourself, we recommend consulting with a professional or reaching out to your hosting provider for assistance.
