Hi, I had several portfolio projects/posts set up in my site with a previous theme. I have switched to XStore and would also like to display these portfolio projects, but they do not seem to be visible anywhere. My portfolio categories are all still there and in the categories listing I can see that each category has a few projects/posts, however when I click on the link (number of projects in category) to list the projects I get a blank… no projects. My previous theme was Avada. Can you tell me is it possible to import or access/convert the project posts from the previous theme to show in XStore. I have set up portfolios in the theme settings as I like so I don’t think it is anything there. Thanks.
PS. You will not be able to see the new XStore site on the domain as I am building it on another server so I have attached screenshots.
I would also like help to make the footer full width. Not sure if this should be a separate topic. I have read through previous posts in the forum on this and none of the solutions worked for me. Looks fine when editing the Static Block on Elementor but does not render on page. I have added the following code in settings to the Theme Custom CSS > Global CSS:
.et-footers-wrapper .footer-widgets.col-md-12 {
padding-right: 0px !important;
padding-left: 0px !important;
}
but it does not fix the issue. Is there some other setting I need to change? Thanks
Hello, Darren Forde,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
Regrettably, the option you are inquiring about is not available. However, you may consider saving the content of your portfolio projects as templates if they were created using the Elementor builder. These templates can then be imported into new portfolio projects.
Furthermore, we kindly request that you provide us with the URL of the site where XStore is activated. This will enable us to review your Footer settings. Additionally, please inform us if you are utilizing sections or containers while editing the Footer static block with Elementor.
Kind Regards,

Thanks for your quick response. I will copy the portfolio posts over manually instead. Regarding the footer, I am using flex containers in Elementor for the static block footer. See attached screenshot. I am unable to give you the domain at present as it is on a dev server that no domain points to just yet. Can you suggest a solution based on the screenshots in the previous post and this reply? If not then I may have to wait until it goes live to provide you with a domain. ( have also attached screenshots of the additional custom css). Thanks again.
Hello, Darren Forde,
We kindly request that you reach out to us once your website is active. Alternatively, you may attempt to configure the footer background image by navigating to Theme Options, then selecting Footer followed by Footer Styling.

Yes, I tried that but it does not offer the same level of control, such as background image colour overlay blend modes, separator styles etc.
Hello, Darren Forde,
Ok, let’s continue once we have the opportunity to view your website and the settings within the wp-admin.
Kind Regards,

Hello, I would like to revisit the issue of the footer full-width in this topic.
As above:
I would also like help to make the footer full width. Not sure if this should be a separate topic. I have read through previous posts in the forum on this and none of the solutions worked for me. Looks fine when editing the Static Block on Elementor but does not render on page. I have added the following code in settings to the Theme Custom CSS > Global CSS:
.et-footers-wrapper .footer-widgets.col-md-12 {
padding-right: 0px !important;
padding-left: 0px !important;
}
but it does not fix the issue. Is there some other setting I need to change? Thanks
I have added the domain and admin login for you in the private area. Thank you.
Hi @Darren Forde,
We’ve added the following CSS under Theme Options > Theme Custom CSS > Global CSS:
.et-footers-wrapper .container {
max-width: 100%;
}
footer.footer {
padding-bottom: 0;
}
And the footer is now full-width. Could you please check again?
Kind Regards,
8theme team
That looks good now. Thank you.
