Change order of variation options in the overview

Dear 8theme team,

on the page https://develop.citizendata.de/produkt-kategorie/frauen/, and generally every shop view: How can we change the order of the variations? Right now the size is ordered alphabetically, but we want it to be by size XS -S – M – L etc. Somehow I cant find the setting for that anywhere, can you guide me?

This is due to the fact that the attributes and variations for variable product functionality are derived from the WooCommerce plugin, rather than the theme itself.
